Enterprise Zone (EZ)

Enterprise Zones are areas of land in which property owners can receive tax incentives for investing in real property improvements.  The purpose of an EZ is to encourage revitalization of existing commercial real property and the development of new commercial structures in an area where investment has been discouraged.

Enterprise Zone Incentives

• Up to 75% real property tax exemption for up to 10 years based upon level of investment in commercial real property, certain personal property, and job creation.
